I’m IMDT Qualified, plus an Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor!

I’m so excited to share that I’m officially a qualified member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), and on top of this have also earned an additional qualification as a specialist puppy instructor!

I completed my assessment with the IMDT on 23/09/23, and am so pleased to have passed with Merit. This involved practical tests in 4 key areas, and the standard that the assessors hold you to is extremely high. It was an intense experience, but I set myself this goal right at the start of my training journey just over a year and a half ago, and knew that I had put the work in to be able to achieve it.

The second qualification I’ve earned showcases my specific puppy skillset and knowledge, and again tested me on 3 key areas to ensure that I really know what I’m doing! I’m over the moon to have achieved this as well, particularly as I’ve been running my course ‘Perfect Pups’ this year and have had such a good time with it and such success that it’s really the icing on the cake to have another stamp of approval to demonstrate how qualified I am in that area.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated in filming as part of my assessment, and to all of my clients and professional friends who lent their support and well-wishes, and now congratulations - it means so much!

So that goal has been achieved, now what? Onwards and upwards!
